The company is advancing a clinical approach that utilizes exposure therapy in an intensive outpatient setting and achieves significant clinical outcomes.The Anxiety Institute intensive treatment model, comprised of 10 hours of individual care each week, is unique among anxiety treatment centers and is complemented by 10 hours of wellness and group therapy.Position SummaryAnxiety Institute is recruiting a Clinical Outreach Coordinator to partner with our team in managing our outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment programs in McLean, VA.The Clinical Outreach Coordinator is an entry to mid-level outreach professional responsible for supporting referral development, professional relationship building, and community engagement within an assigned territory.This role works closely with the Director of Clinical Relations to execute outreach strategies, prospect new referral sources, coordinate meetings, conduct follow-up communications, and support local marketing initiatives. The Clinical Outreach Coordinator plays a key role in expanding the referral network, maintaining consistent outreach activity, and ensuring timely follow-through with professional contacts.This is a full-time salaried position.ResponsibilitiesProfessional Outreach & Relationship DevelopmentIdentify and research prospective referral sources including clinicians, physicians, psychiatrists, educational consultants, and school personnelSchedule introductory meetings and conduct strategic outreach to introduce Anxiety Institute’s servicesBuild and maintain a robust database of professional contactsTrack all outreach activity in SalesforceFollow-Up & Referral SupportEnsure timely and professional follow-up after meetings, events, and referralsSend thank-you notes, educational materials, and program updatesSupport relationship development with active and recent referral partnersCoordinate tours and visits for referring professionalsEvent & Community EngagementAssist in planning and coordinating local outreach events and professional gatheringsSupport logistics including invitations, materials, RSVP tracking, and follow-upRepresent Anxiety Institute at community events, conferences, and sponsorshipsOutreach Operations & Marketing SupportMaintain accurate documentation of outreach activity and referral dataSupport tracking of outreach metrics and campaign performanceAssist with social media content and capture photos at eventsPartner with marketing to execute local initiativesTeam CollaborationPartner with clinical, admissions, and marketing teamsSupport identification and resolution of outreach or referral barriersContribute to broader team initiatives as neededGoalsConduct 20–30 outreach interactions per week, including meetings, drop-ins, and virtual introductionsSchedule new prospect meetings weekly for senior outreach leadershipEnsure follow-up communication within 48 hours of professional interactionsMaintain ongoing touchpoints with assigned referral sourcesAssist in coordinating at least one local outreach event per quarterQualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Healthcare, Communications, or a related field1–3 years of experience in outreach, marketing, healthcare operations, or business development preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with CRM systems, Salesforce preferredValid driver’s license with clean driving recordAbility to pass background and health screening requirementsExperience in behavioral health, adolescent programming, or IOP/residential settings is a plus but not required.BenefitsOur competitive compensation and benefits include:Health, life, disability, and dental insurance.401(k) matching after the third month of employment.To preserve our team’s mental health, we have a policy of “unlimited” paid time off (“PTO”) plus company-wide paid vacation during most federal holidays and the time between Christmas through New Year’s Day.Make an Impact—Apply Today!If you’re ready to help transform lives and advance your career in a specialized mental health setting, we want to hear from you.
