Behavioral Coach

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Behavioral Coach to join our team and work with youth and families in a community setting. Would you like a flexible work schedule that could be as little as 15 hours per week to 40 hours? Responsibilities: As a Behavioral Coach, you will play a vital role in helping youth and families develop essential life skills, coping mechanisms, and interpersonal abilities. Your goal will be able to promote self-sufficiency and maintain stability for children, adolescents, and parents within their homes and/or identified schools. Key responsibilities include: Collaborating with children, youth, and families to identify strengths, needs, and goals. Developing and implementing personalized behavior management plans and strategies. Providing guidance and support to foster healthy relationships and communication within families. Connecting youth and families with appropriate community resources to address their specific needs. Collaborating with other professionals, including case workers, educators, and mental health experts. Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: A degree in a human service field or working toward (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Sociology). Must be 21 years of age. Preferred minimum of 2 years experience working directly with youth and families in a community-based setting. Strong knowledge of local community resources and the ability to effectively connect youth and families to these resources. Proficiency in teaching life skills, coping mechanisms, and interpersonal skills to children, youth, and families. Demonstrated ability to create and implement behavior management plans and strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and build trust with clients. Empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when working with diverse populations. Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate and thorough documentation.
