This role is ideal for someone who is self-driven, hands-on, detail-oriented and comfortable with detailing and documentation. Please note that this is a fully-remote position.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with principals to develop creative design options and advance architectural plans.Lead drawing development for assigned projects.Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.Lead research of local codes, regulations, and technical standards.Proactively lead project coordination and delivery with minimal supervision, with input from principals.Attend site visits to monitor progress and address design and technical issues as they arise.Applicant Requirements10-15 years of architectural experience, with proven ability to lead development of construction document sets.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.Proficiency in Revit is required, particularly in detailing and production of construction documents.Strong communication and organizational skills.Experience with historic preservation and/or multifamily projects a plus.Strong working knowledge of IBC, local Chicago building codes, and ADA regulations.Ability to work effectively within a remote team environment.Architectural registration preferred but not required.Must be based in Chicago area and able to travel to job sites within Chicagoland.Excellent professional references.BenefitsCompetitive salary & PTO8 paid holidaysOffice closure from December 24 to January 2Work-life balanceHealth insurance annual stipendRetirement plan with 3% matchRemote work stipendWellness stipendCovered participation in relevant industry networking eventsRegular team lunches, happy hoursPaid time off for ARE testing days View your Application History
