Polar Power Inc. is a NASDAQ company (Ticker: POLA) JOB SUMMARY Polar Power is currently seeking an Assembler to work in our manufacturing facility in Gardena . Responsibilities include performing final assembly of DC generators using fabricated components. We need ambitious individuals who are organized, smart, reliable, detailed and strive to provide quality work. REQUIREMENTS Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing, assembly or related field Experience with hand tools such as air-powered tools, torque wrenches, drills, screwdrivers Experience with all types of fasteners, rivets, epoxy/adhesives, cleaning solvents Can read basic instructions and write small notes (usually on work orders and travelers) Mechanically inclined, can troubleshoot engines, experience in the stator winding, connecting cables Experience with the assembly of alternators preferred Able to work schedule is 7am to 3:30pm M-F. Occasional OT may be available High School Diploma or Equivalent Able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, for prolonged periods and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
