Industrial Maintenance Electrician
JENNMAR Steel is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in an industrial setting. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics, the ability to work with high voltage systems, and proficiency in using various hand and power tools. The Industrial Electrician will ensure that all electrical work is performed safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant codes and standards.
Qualifications of Industrial, Plant Electrician:
Must apply expert level electrical theory and related knowledge to the operation, troubleshooting, repair and installation of a variety of electrical/electronic systems and equipment.
Must be able to read and interpret building system blueprints and manufacturing equipment electrical drawings, wiring diagrams & schematics.
Responsibilities of Industrial, Plant Electrician:
Maintenance actions include, but are not limited to:
Install, repair and perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment.
Troubleshoot problems in electrical circuits, electric motors, starters.
Perform daily inspection and calibration as needed of process control equipment and environmental compliance equipment
Work Schedule of the Industrial Electrician:
2nd Shift (Night): Monday - Friday (6:00pm - 6:00am)
Additional OT is available
Weekend work when necessary
