This Engineering role will use extensive knowledge of proprietary Samsung Electronics Manufacturing systems to manage software improvement projects for those systems. As a Project Integration Engineer, you will work closely with manufacturing, systems and fab engineering personnel to drive software solution projects with optimal impact to the factoryKey attributes include general engineering knowledge, adaptability, project management & leadership, excellent problem solving, coordination of tasks, teamwork, communication & collaboration, effective presentation skills, and expert data collection and analysis.Role and ResponsibilitiesHere's What You'll Be Responsible For:* Lead end‐to‐end ownership of multiple critical systems, acting as the primary project manager for all change initiatives.* Gather, validate, and translate customer needs into detailed technical specifications for Korean and U.S. engineering teams via the internal request platform.* Drive system upgrades from scoping through development, testing, user acceptance, and production release, coordinating cross‐functional efforts and stakeholder engagement* Partner with Samsung Developer Teams to standardize software and align enhancement releases with power‐user requirements.* Analyze pre‐ and post‐release factory and system performance using SQL, Splunk, and Spotfire to quantify impact and uncover improvement opportunities* Coordinate and facilitate end‐user testing, iterate based on feedback, and ensure smooth adoption of new releases* Translate project status, analytics, and ROI assessments into concise slide decks and presentations for executive and tactical meetings.* Evaluate the business impact of each project, communicating findings to stakeholders and recommending prioritization.Skills and QualificationsHere's what you'll need:* Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or a related field is preferred.* 3 years or more industry experience. 5-7 years industry experience is preferred.* Other degrees will be considered with significant industry and project management experience (10+ years)* Experience with automated mass‐production systems, ideally within Samsung Semiconductor, and 1‐5 years in automated manufacturing or semiconductor FAB* Quick learner who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to varied challenges* Proven ability to manage projects and tasks independently while fostering collaboration and synergy in cross‐functional teams* Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers; interaction with Korean counterparts is a core part of the role, and proficiency in speaking and writing Korean is a valuable plus.* Exceptional organizational skills, with a strong ability to assess situations, set priorities, and stay focused under pressure* Advanced critical‐thinking and problem‐solving: consistently identifies third‐ and fourth‐order effects of catalyst events and turns insights into actionable solutions* Proficient in analytical tools: experienced with SQL, and familiar with Splunk, Spotfire, and similar platforms* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Atlassian (Confluence, JIRA) applied to complex data‐driven projects* PMP or CBAP certification (or active pursuit) is a plus* Korean Speaking is a positiveThe current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience.
