Laboratory Technician / Molecular Biologist

OverviewImmunocine Preserve and Vincere Cancer Center are seeking a highly organized, meticulous laboratory professional to join our Arizona-based team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong biochemistry, molecular biology, biobanking or related life sciences background who is comfortable working in a regulated laboratory environment and handling precious biological specimens with care and precision.  Research experience and interest is preferred.The successful candidate will support BioBanking, clinical research, lab duties, lab research, PCR, tissue preservation, and sample processing operations, beginning with the receipt and processing of tumor tissue samples into cDNA and lysate, sample QC, preservation workflows, and organized transfer of materials.This is an opportunity to join an evolving platform with room to grow as both Vincere Cancer Center and Immunocine Preserve expand their service offerings.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, accession, and process tumor tissue samples in the Immunocine Preserve laboratory.Perform molecular biology workflows, including PCR, cDNA generation, lysate preparation, and related sample processing techniques.Conduct quality control checks on processed samples.Preserve and organize biological materials according to internal protocols.Maintain accurate, complete, and timely laboratory documentation.Follow cGMP-aligned practices, laboratory SOPs, and quality standards.Ensure proper sample tracking, labeling, chain of custody, and inventory organization.Help facilitate the organized transfer of samples and materials to Immunocine.Support development and implementation of new workflows as Immunocine Preserve expands.Ideal QualificationsBachelor’s degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, biology, biotechnology, or a related field required; master’s degree preferred.Experience in a biobank, tissue bank, molecular biology lab, clinical research lab, or regulated laboratory setting preferred.Hands-on experience with PCR and standard molecular biology techniques.Familiarity with cGMP, GLP, or regulated laboratory practices.Strong documentation skills and excellent attention to detail.Highly organized, reliable, and comfortable working with valuable and sensitive tissue samples.Ability to follow SOPs precisely while maintaining flexibility in a growing laboratory environment.Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.About Immunocine PreserveImmunocine Preserve is focused on preserving tumor-derived biological materials in a high-quality, organized, and scientifically rigorous way to support Immunocine’s broader mission.
