HCL Notes Developer

Job SummaryThe HCL Notes Developer will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting existing HCL Notes (Lotus Notes) applications. This role focuses on maintaining business-critical applications, resolving user issues, and improving system efficiency while supporting ongoing transition efforts to modern platforms. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a support and development environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, enhance, and maintain HCL Notes applications to support business operations.Troubleshoot and resolve application issues reported by users in a timely manner.Provide ongoing support for existing applications to ensure system stability and performance.Identify opportunities to improve application efficiency and user experience.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions.Analyze existing applications and recommend enhancements or optimizations.Support transition efforts by maintaining legacy systems during modernization initiatives.Work closely with team members to ensure continuity of development and support activities.Document application changes, fixes, and enhancements.Required QualificationsExperience in HCL Notes (Lotus Notes) application development and support.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in legacy application environments.Experience with application enhancements and maintenance.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Strong communication skills to interact with business users and stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting business-critical or legacy enterprise applications.Familiarity with application modernization or migration strategies.Ability to identify process improvements and optimize existing systems.
