Senior Cost Analyst

OverviewWe are seeking highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic to support Department of Defense (DoD) programs and projects. The position requires over 7 years of experience in cost analysis/cost estimating. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills in addition to the following skills/experience.ResponsibilitiesConduct cost analyses and cost estimates for Life Cycle Cost Estimates, Program Office budgets, Contract Proposals, and other cost products as requestedProvide analytical support for program controls and reporting, and financial execution and budgetsDevelop program Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and support development of initial program Cost Analysis Requirements Description (CARD) and Acquisition Program Baseline (APB) documents as requestedCoordinate, brief, document, and defend results with and across other organizations and contractors Skills Required24 semester hours of quantitative course work (mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, chemistry, etc.) to include at least three hours of college level calculusProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)Demonstrated knowledge and experience using the Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tool (ACEIT) suite to perform complex cost estimating and analysis tasksKnowledge of DoD "Develop, Deliver, and Sustain" processes, regulations, and best practices pertaining to DoD AcquisitionLife cycle cost estimate development, risk/uncertainty analysis, and model documentation. Experience leading or contributing to the creation of a DoD program's initial life cycle cost estimate a plusWBS development with MIL-STD-881 backgroundExperience supporting ACAT 1D acquisition programs a plusCertification in the Cost Estimating career field by a recognized professional society or educational organization (i.e., Career field specific DAWIA level III / Advanced, ICEAA CCEA, etc.) preferredActive DoD Secret ClearanceSalary Range: $90,000 - $150,000/year, DOEEducation
