Planning Project Coordinator
Tocci Construct, a leading general contracting firm based in Woburn, MA, is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Project Data Coordinator to support our project management and business development teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, learning new technologies, and contributing to process improvements in a fast-paced construction environment.
About the Role: You'll be responsible for managing critical project data, compliance reporting, and research initiatives that support our operations and growth strategy. This is a hands-on position where accuracy, organization, and technological aptitude are essential. You'll have the opportunity to implement AI tools and automation to streamline workflows while building expertise in construction project management.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance & Reporting
Maintain and track workforce diversity compliance documentation
Compile and report MBE/WBE (Minority/Women Business Enterprise) participation statistics
Ensure accurate and timely submission of required compliance reports to clients and regulatory agencies
Create and maintain organized filing systems for compliance records
Planning + Cost Engineering (P+CE) Support
Assist with keeping the planning and preconstruction schedules current at dept. meetings
Support coordination of schedule updates, milestones, and revisions
Provide document management and version control for budgets, estimates, drawings, and schedules
Maintain organized, clearly labeled files to ensure teams are working from current information
Assist with prequalification of Subcontractors
Data Management
Perform data entry and quality control for project information across multiple systems
Maintain project databases with accuracy and attention to detail
Generate reports and dashboards tracking key project metrics
Identify and implement data management improvements
Research & Business Development Support
Conduct market research on potential clients, competitors, and industry trends
Gather and analyze data to support pursuit decisions and business development strategies
Compile information for proposals and presentations
Track and report on business development pipeline metrics
Process Automation
Learn and implement AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, automation software) to streamline repetitive tasks
Identify opportunities to automate data collection and reporting processes
Document new workflows and train team members on improved processes
Stay current on emerging technologies relevant to construction administration
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
