Sales Assistant

Job Title: Sales AssociateLocation: Albuquerque, NMCompensation: $45,000-50,000 base salary + commissionSchedule: 9am - 6pmBenefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).Job Description:This role is responsible for driving onsite sales by engaging directly with customers in a high-energy, in-person environment. The position focuses on educating individuals on available service offerings, building trust, and converting interactions into sales at the point of engagement.This is a consultative sales role that blends relationship-building with performance-driven goals. Success in this position is measured by conversion rates, customer experience, and overall sales performance.Qualifications:2–5+ years of sales experience, including retail or customer-facing environmentsActive Property & Casualty (P&C) license, or ability to obtain quickly upon hireProven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and close dealsStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional presenceComfortable working fully onsite in a high-traffic, customer-facing settingAvailability to work a Wednesday through Sunday schedule, including weekends (required)Experience using CRM systems or sales tracking tools preferredSelf-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environmentInterest in animal care or working with pet owners is strongly preferredKey responsibilities include:Engage with customers onsite and initiate meaningful conversations to understand needsEducate customers on available coverage options and recommend appropriate solutionsConvert interactions into completed sales and consistently meet performance targetsTrack daily activity, pipeline, and sales metrics within CRM systemsParticipate in onsite events and community outreach efforts to drive awareness and engagementMaintain a professional and approachable presence in a highly interactive settingUpsell additional service options when appropriate
