AWS DevOps Engineer

Role: AWS DevOps EngineerDuration : 6 months + possible extensionLocation : 100% Remote from EULanguage needed: EnglishP.Iva / B2B Contract / Freelance / ContractJDWe are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to play a key role in automating deployment pipelines, managing containerized environments, and ensuring high availability of services that support the Organization's global operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes across development, staging, and production environments.Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized workloads using Kubernetes, including cluster provisioning, scaling, and upgrades.Develop and maintain configuration management and infrastructure-as-code using Ansible.Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.Manage centralized logging infrastructure using the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for log aggregation, analysis, and troubleshooting.Administer and optimize database systems, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, ensuring performance, backup, and disaster recovery readiness.Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of DevOps practices across the software development lifecycle.Implement security best practices across infrastructure, pipelines, and containerized environments, in line with the client security standards.Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues across environments.SkillsMust haveDemonstrated hands-on experience with:Designing and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)Kubernetes cluster management and container orchestrationAnsible for configuration management and automationAWS Cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, EKS, CloudFormation/Terraform, etc.)Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and visualizationELK Stack for centralized loggingPostgreSQL and MongoDB database administrationNice to haveExperience in Python/Django will be considered an advantage but not essesntial
