Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU/Stepdown position requiring at least 2 years of recent PCU/Telemetry experience and Epic proficiency, with day/night rotation shifts.Job Details• Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown in a hospital setting,• Day/night rotation schedule with up to 4 weeks of day shifts and 4 weeks of night shifts per rotation,• Day shift hours: 7:00 AM-7:30 PM; Night shift hours: 7:00 PM-7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts),• Schedule includes at least 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays every 4 weeks,• At least 4 weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday day shifts) required every 4 weeks,• Up to one holiday shift required,• On-call responsibilities are required,• Travelers are first to float - priority float to the Heart Center Stepdown, then to the general house if no need there,• Epic EMR experience required,• Orientations are held bi-weekly,Job Requirements• Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand,• Current BLS and ACLS certifications in hand at time of consideration,• Minimum 2 recent years of PCU/Telemetry experience required,• Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration,• One supervisory professional reference from within the last year required for consideration,• Blocked scheduling is not available for this position,Additional Information• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a different pay rate,• Flu vaccine is required from October 31 through March 31 with no exemptions accepted,• Royal blue scrubs are required,
