Physical TherapistFT / PT Status - Full-TimeSalary - $29.12 - $46.17 Hourly WageRemote Work / In-Office - HybridRecruiter - Ashlee Adams | ashleeadams@utah.gov | 000-000-0000Application Deadline -Open until filledKey ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities and day to day responsibilities of this position:Provide family centered developmentally appropriate physical therapy services to infants and toddlers (birth to age 3)Deliver services in the child's natural environment such as the family homeEvaluate infants and toddlers to assess gross motor development, mobility, posture, strength and functional abilitiesDevelop and implement individualized family support plans based on family prioritiesProvide direct physical therapy services using evidence based practicesCoach and educate caregivers to embed strategies into daily routinesCollaborate with a multidisciplinary teamMonitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as neededMaintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulationsTravel to home and community based service locationsQualificationsMinimum or "day-one" qualifications:Current state licensure as a Physical TherapistExperience with pediatric patientsKnowledge of child development and family centered practicesValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to coach and collaborate effectively with familiesAbility to work independently and manage a flexible scheduleCultural competence and sensitivity to diverse family systemsAbility to engage in active play with young children Preferred or trainable/on-the-job qualifications: Experience with IDEA Part C Early InterventionExperience with the BTOTS DatabaseBilingual skills (English/Spanish)Experience using routines based interventions About the RoleLocation -2540 Washington BlvdOgden, Utah, 84401United StatesBackground Check Required - YesDrug Test Required - NoSchedule Code - TL - Time limitedWhy You Should Join Our TeamIn Utah, we believe hard work is important, but balance is essential. Early Intervention (EI) services are provided through a family coaching model that focuses on helping children meet goals in all areas of development.
