Marketing Coordinator - Entry Level
Atakapa Service, LLC. – A Waggoner Company is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Marketing Coordinator to support the company’s marketing and business development efforts. This position is based in the Birmingham, AL office and will assist with administrative marketing tasks, bid tracking, and identifying opportunities for company growth.The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in supporting marketing initiatives within the construction and infrastructure services industry.Atakapa Services, LLC. - A Waggoner Company specializes in evaluating, maintaining and designing rehabilitation methods for sanitary sewer and storm drain infrastructure. We work with municipalities, wastewater utility contractors and engineering firms to inspect, clean, and rehabilitate their underground wastewater and drainage infrastructure. We provide a comprehensive range of services and reports to help our clients address the most complex sewer and storm drain operation and maintenance problems.ResponsibilitiesResearch and identify public and private bid opportunities relevant to the company’s servicesMaintain and update bid tracking logs and proposal documentationAssist with administrative paperwork related to bids, proposals, and marketing materialsSupport the preparation and organization of qualification packages, proposals, and marketing collateralIdentify and help coordinate business development opportunities, including industry meetings, conferences, and networking eventsAttend industry events, trade shows, and association meetings to support business development initiativesAssist with maintaining the company’s CRM or contact databaseCoordinate with internal teams to gather information for marketing and proposal submissionsPerform general marketing and administrative support tasks as neededManage social media effortsQualificationsRequired SkillsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field1–2 years of relevant experience in marketing, administrative support, or business development (internships may be considered)Strong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Willingness to attend networking or industry eventsPreferred SkillsExperience with proposal coordination or bid trackingFamiliarity with construction, engineering, or infrastructure industriesExperience with CRM systems or marketing databasesBenefitsAdd required qualificationsWe know work isn't only about what you do, it's also about who you work for and with!
