PLC Programmer
Position: PLC Programmer
Job Description:
The Programmer will be responsible for the programming of control systems, including automation, PLCs, and DC/DC converters. This position will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repair of control system issues as well as the installation and commissioning of new control systems. The Programmer will work closely with the Production Manager and other members of the team to ensure that all project requirements are met. This is a salaried position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Programming PLCs, DC/DC converters, and other control systems using programming languages and tools such as AutoCAD
Troubleshooting and repair of control system issues
Installation and commissioning of new control systems
Maintain documentation on all projects in a timely manner to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Perform quality assurance testing on all products manufactured to ensure that products meet quality standards
Assist with inventory management of parts and supplies for projects that require inventory management
Maintain a clean work environment at all times. Follow all company safety procedures and standards. Adhere to all OSHA, EPA, and local health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:
·High School Diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
·Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
·Good hand-eye coordination; good physical mobility; ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, push or pull heavy items; lift up to 50 pounds without assistance; crawl, walk or crawl stand on feet for extended periods of time.
