Java Technical Lead

Role: Java Tech LeadLocation: Berkeley Heights, NJInterview Mode: Video InterviewJob Type: ContractJob DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Java Tech Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on Java development experience, solid knowledge of microservices and Spring Boot, and the ability to provide technical leadership to development teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.Design scalable and high-performance microservices-based architectures.Review code and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders.Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues.Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.Drive performance optimization, security, and application scalability.Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide technical estimates.Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+.Excellent knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Framework.Strong experience with Microservices Architecture.Experience developing REST APIs.Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.Strong understanding of design patterns, OOP, and software architecture.Proven experience leading or mentoring development teams.Preferred SkillsExperience with AWS/Azure/GCP.Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms.Familiarity with DevOps and cloud-native application development.Experience working in Agile environments.
