Staff Technical Program Manager
For our client, we are seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.This role will lead strategically important technical programs with ambiguous scope and elevated risk, ensuring strong execution across teams and disciplines. The position will focus on building scalable operating models, resolving systemic blockers, and translating long-term strategy into clear, actionable plans. It also requires close partnership with engineering and business stakeholders to shape priorities, manage architectural tradeoffs, and guide decisions that improve business outcomes.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annuallyResponsibilities Own and manage strategic programs with ambiguous scope and high risk from start to finish. Design and implement execution frameworks and operating models to enhance scalability across teams. Resolve systemic blockers and ensure alignment between short-term priorities and long-term strategy. Act as a technical integrator to identify and address architectural risks across domains. Shape the technical roadmap and guide build-vs-buy decisions involving engineering and business constraints. Serve as a strategic partner influencing priorities and decisions organization-wide. Decide when to shut down or redirect programs for business benefit. Mentor junior TPMs and participate in team growth through recruitment.Qualifications 6+ years as a Technical Program Manager, especially at the group or organizational level. Experience in fast-paced, highly technical environments; healthtech experience is a plus. Proven success in designing and scaling execution frameworks for high-risk, ambiguous projects. Broad technical fluency, with the ability to identify and influence cross-domain risks. Skilled at translating strategic vision into actionable roadmaps, with a strong focus on influence and decision-making. Experience mentoring other TPMs and contributing to team growth through hiring and onboarding.
