Service/Tire Technician Jog Position

Whether performing routine oil changes or tire repairs, your hands-on work will be vital to our success. Duties Perform comprehensive vehicle maintenance services including oil changes, fluid top-offs, filter replacements, and inspections. Conduct tire services such as mounting, balancing, rotation, and replacement to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs, adjustments, and installations on various vehicle systems. Conduct safety inspections and identify mechanical problems that require further repair or maintenance. Assist in maintaining a clean, organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Support the sales team by explaining service options and promoting additional maintenance or repair services. Lift heavy components safely during repairs or tire replacements while adhering to safety protocols. Follow dealership procedures and manufacturer guidelines to ensure quality workmanship on every vehicle serviced. Qualifications Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background is highly preferred. Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of Heavy-Duty Truck systems and diagnostics. Strong mechanical knowledge paired with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Experience performing automotive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, and general repairs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Team Leader about vehicle needs. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods. Familiarity with Heavy-Duty service procedures and safety standards is essential.
