Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Night Patrol / Property Monitor to oversee the security of our premises during overnight hours. This role involves maintaining a safe environment by monitoring property, preventing theft or vandalism, and responding effectively to emergencies. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, conflict management abilities, and relevant security experience to ensure the safety and integrity of the property. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the property using CCTV surveillance and on-foot inspections to identify any suspicious activity or safety hazards. Monitor security systems and alarms, responding promptly to alerts and ensuring proper documentation of incidents. Enforce property rules and regulations, managing conflicts professionally and effectively when necessary. Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations until professional medical help arrives. Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and security breaches for reporting purposes. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required to address security concerns or emergencies. Conduct loss prevention activities by observing customer behavior and preventing theft or vandalism. Ensure all surveillance equipment is operational and report any malfunctions for maintenance. Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred. Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, or Security License are highly desirable. Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems. Excellent conflict management and communication skills to handle tense situations calmly and professionally. Ability to remain alert during overnight shifts and respond swiftly to emergencies. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and safety protocols. Physical ability to patrol the premises on foot for extended periods and lift light equipment if necessary.
