Operational Technology Manager

We encourage all applicants to apply directly, and we thank you for your understanding.Overview: This role is going to be focused on modernizing all of the infrastructure and technology in place at the Minneapolis, MN factory. This person should be well versed in manufacturing factory environments and be able to lead from a strategy perspective to help roadmap implementations but also be hands on when needed. This team runs lean so being able to step in to provide support when needed will be a must have. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can grow into the role - the manager does not want an MES expert or ERP expert per se but someone who wants to be part of the company long term.Responsibilities:Helps to Maintain and improve the IT technical systems of the FactoryPrimary Point of Contact for Factory IT issues & day to day Factory Operations team's IT requirementsPreventive Maintenance PlanningCoordination of Software updates / Patches on Shop Floor MachinesDocumentation of standard procedures for support of IT-related operations in manufacturing and distribution for new and existing processesCoordinate with Third Party Vendor Support for Factory Applications & Devices as neededCoordinate with Corporate IT Shared Services Support as needed to ensure seamless support for operationsProject Management for Factory Digital transformation / Factory 4.0 projects in coordination with Operations leadership and IT leaderSeeks to understand Factory technology needs; communicates ideas to functional and technical leaders for implementation and developmentProvide timely and advance communications to cross functional teams on technology system changes related to the Factory OperationsAbility to adjust and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environmentRequired Qualifications:High School diploma or GED5+ years minimum of experience supporting manufacturing information technology in a manufacturing environmentPreferred Qualifications:Associate or Bachelors degreeExperience in a manufacturing environment with assembly lines requiring extensive testing and calibrationGood oral and written communication skills when interacting with factory personnel and ability to articulate issues and requirements to internal & external support teamsHighly motivated with the ability to take ownership of IT issues and requirements and follow through to conclusionClear knowledge and understanding of network topology LAN, WAN and Wireless TechnologiesHands on IT skills / experience in scripting & troubleshooting applicationsBenefits:York Solutions Offers a generous benefits package for eligible full-time employees:BCBS Medical with 3 Plans to choose from (PPO and High deductible PPO plans with Health Savings Program)Delta Dental plan with 2 free cleanings and insurance discountsEye Med Vision with annual check-ups and discounts on lensLife and Accidental Death Insurance paid by companyJohn Hancock 401(k) Retirement Plan with discretionary company match up to 5%Voluntary Insurance programs such as: Hospital Indemnity, Identity Protection, Legal Insurance, Long Term Care, and Pet Insurance.Flexible work environment with some remote working opportunitiesStrong fun and teamwork environmentLearning, development, and career growthJ-18808-Ljbffr
