Job DescriptionThe Environmental Health and Safety Manager oversees all environmental and safety programs. This includes developing safety procedures and training and managing facility inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.ResponsibilitiesAdvise management on safety and compliance issuesDesign and conduct comprehensive environmental and safety audits for compliance and continuous improvementDevelop and deliver safety training and proceduresEnsure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations and legislationMaintain safety equipment inventory and ensure staff have all the necessary equipmentMaintain safety files, records and training databaseRespond to health and safety issues and regulatory agenciesExperience QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors Degree: Minimum six (6) years of experience in people management. Minimum eight (8) years of experience in field. OR Masters Degree: Minimum four (4) years of experience in people management.
