We help organizations maximize value, protect sensitive data, and support sustainable technology lifecycle management through secure, compliant, and environmentally responsible operations.Position SummaryAVM Services is seeking an experienced R2 Compliance & Operations Manager to oversee compliance programs, operational procedures, environmental standards, and certification initiatives within our secure IT asset disposition and technology recovery environment.This role will lead compliance efforts related to R2 standards, operational accountability, chain-of-custody procedures, downstream vendor management, environmental practices, and continuous process improvement across warehouse and logistics operations.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, operationally minded, and capable of managing both compliance initiatives and day-to-day operational oversight in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance & CertificationLead and support R2 certification and recertification initiativesMaintain compliance documentation, SOPs, policies, and operational proceduresCoordinate internal audits and external certification auditsMonitor downstream vendor compliance and documentationEnsure adherence to environmental, operational, and data security standardsMaintain chain-of-custody and asset tracking proceduresOperations & Process ManagementSupport warehouse and operational workflow oversightAssist in developing process improvements and operational efficienciesMonitor inventory accountability and secure handling proceduresCoordinate compliance-related reporting and recordkeepingPartner with leadership on operational strategy and continuous improvementSafety & Environmental OversightSupport workplace safety and environmental compliance initiativesMonitor responsible recycling and asset disposition practicesHelp maintain compliance with industry and client security requirementsPromote operational accountability and best practices across departmentsQualifications3+ years of compliance, operations, logistics, warehouse, or ITAD industry experience preferredExperience with R2, ISO, environmental, or operational compliance standards is highly preferredStrong organizational and documentation management skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExperience with inventory tracking, operational controls, and secure asset handlingKnowledge of electronics recycling, IT asset disposition, or data destruction processes is a plusProficiency with Microsoft Office and operational reporting systemsWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationCareer growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding industryProfessional and collaborative work environmentOpportunity to support sustainability-focused technology operationsMeaningful leadership role with operational and compliance impactLocationHouston, TexasEmployment TypeFull-TimeIndustryIT Asset Disposition (ITAD) | Technology Recovery | Electronics Recycling | Logistics & Compliance
