As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for shaping, finishing, and detailing concrete to meet project specifications while ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld. Responsibilities
Prepare concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and finishing freshly poured concrete using hand tools and power tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds.
Install rebar reinforcement and formwork according to blueprints and schematics to ensure structural integrity.
Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise finishing work.
Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks required for concrete placement, restoration projects, or renovation work.
Collaborate with team members on site to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety protocols and quality standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction roles with knowledge of concrete pouring, curing, and surface treatments.
Mechanical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and construction machinery.
Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
Skills in rebar installation, masonry work including tile laying and flooring installation, as well as metal stud framing are highly desirable.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working on construction sites with exposure to various weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license REQUIRED for transporting materials or equipment when required. Pay: $24.28 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
