Active Alabama state license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to start. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in outpatient and/or inpatient settings preferred. Candidates with prior experience treating orthopedic, neurological, or post-surgical populations are preferred. Ability to perform patient lifts, transfers, and prolonged standing and walking as required for caseload demands. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and professional Physical Therapist to provide care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The clinician will perform patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, implement therapeutic interventions, educate patients and families, document care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Clinical supervision of assistants or students may be required. Continued professional development is expected. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient limitations and goals. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and therapeutic exercises. Provide patient and family education on recovery and injury prevention. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient progress per facility policies. Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff to coordinate care. Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants, students, and support staff as needed.
