(based on the experience, miles, and working hours). Department: MED/SURG ICU Job Category: Acute - Nursing Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced registered nurse specializing in wound care to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing comprehensive wound management and patient care across various clinical settings, including acute care, long-term care, outpatient clinics, and home health environments. Key Responsibilities: Conduct through wound assessments, including evaluation of wound size, depth, exudate, and infection signs, utilizing evidence-based protocols. Develop individualized wound care plans incorporating advanced techniques such as debridement, dressing selection, and infection control measures. Routinely providing comprehensive assessments of patients at risk for developing pressure injuries. Initiating preventative measures. Escalate and communicate challenges identified including ethical issues and issues related to conflict resolution. Routinely collaborating with Assistant Director of Nursing for Wound Care to initiate and recommend best practices based on prudent assessment Required Qualifications: Updated Resume NY-RN License BLS (AHA) Certification Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) issued by the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB) OR WCC COVID Card Application Process: Please submit your resume to or call/text Qualified candidates will be contacted promptly for next steps.
