The successful candidate will be responsible for leading independent credit approvals for middle-market LBO and leveraged loans, challenging deal assumptions, and delivering clear recommendations to leadership. Key responsibilities include conducting detailed credit evaluations and analysis, drafting executive summaries, and presenting credit assessments to senior team members. The role also involves front-office engagement, deal structuring support, and ensuring that all credit applications comply with internal policies and U.S. regulatory expectations. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in credit risk or a related function, with a strong understanding of middle-market leveraged loans. Exposure to non-investment-grade large-cap transactions is strongly preferred. The role requires the ability to apply critical thinking to complex financial structures, market conditions, and industry-specific risks, as well as strong judgment and risk sensitivity. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage a significant deal volume in a fast-paced environment, produce high-quality written summaries, and possess excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
