Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Apprentice to join our team. The successful candidate will support electricians and instrument technicians by assisting with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems. This role involves performing a wide range of tasks that aid in the efficient and safe completion of projects. Key Responsibilities: Assistance with Installation: Assist fellow tradesman with the installation of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control equipment according to drawings and technical specifications. Material Handling: Handle, transport, and organize tools, equipment, and materials needed for successful project execution and completion. Basic Tasks: Fabricating tray and brackets, housekeeping, drilling and cutting, supporting fellow tradesman as needed. Tool and Equipment Use: Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete job tasks. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, regulations, and best practices. Ensure all work is performed with a strong emphasis on safety. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of work experience. Offshore experience preferred. Certifications: Offshore certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET, OGUK Medical) required; certifications in pneumatics or industrial maintenance are a plus. If these are not currently held, they will be provided upon hire. Skills: Ability to read a tape measure. Ability to drill holes on the mark and make square cuts. Strong communication skills a must. Must possess general hand tools. A list shall be provided upon hire. Mechanical and problem-solving skills a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work as part of a team in remote, challenging environments. Working Conditions: Schedule: As Required. Work in various weather conditions, including exposure to high winds, heavy machinery noise, and confined spaces. Physically demanding tasks may be required, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights. Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience.
