Principal Software Engineer (High-Performance Trading & Multi-Market Clearing)We are seeking two visionary System Architects AND Principal Software Engineer to join our core engineering team. These roles are pivotal in building and scaling the next generation of our global brokerage infrastructure, covering the entire trade lifecycle from ultra-low latency execution to complex multi-market settlement.Core ResponsibilitiesDepending on your area of expertise, you will lead the architecture for one of the following domains:1. High-Performance Trading System ArchitectArchitect & Scale: Design real-time trading systems capable of handling global markets and diverse asset classes.Push Performance Limits: Optimize order management, risk control, algorithmic trading, routing, and connectivity.Latency Optimization: Drive millisecond-level end-to-end performance through advanced messaging, memory management, and concurrency tuning.Resilience: Build distributed, cross-region architectures to ensure 24/7 global uptime.2. Multi-Market Clearing & Settlement ArchitectLifecycle Design: Design back-office systems for global clearing, settlement, and multi-currency operations.Workflow Automation: Automate mission-critical processes including corporate actions, cash management, and securities lending.Operational Efficiency: Enhance system reliability and efficiency for operations spanning multiple global jurisdictions.Data Strategy: Leverage Java and distributed data frameworks to manage large-scale ledger and financial records.What We Are Looking ForExperience: 5+ years of engineering or architecture experience at a leading global brokerage or financial institution.Technical Mastery: 1. For Trading: Deep expertise in low-latency/high-throughput systems, matching engines, and Linux kernel tuning. 2. For Clearing: Strong command of Java, ledger systems, messaging queues, and large-scale data processing.Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial flows (Order/Risk/Algo for Trading; Ledger/Settlement/Lending for Clearing).Engineering Excellence: Proven ability to design clean abstractions and solve complex, large-scale engineering problems.Global Mindset: Experience deploying and maintaining resilient systems across multiple international regions.
