Machine Operator/Assembler

In this energetic role, you will operate a variety of industrial equipment, including CNC machines, press brake machines, and robotic systems, to assemble and produce precision parts. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will ensure smooth operations and top-tier product quality. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor machinery such as CNC lathes, CNC machines, plastics blow molding, injection molding, extrusion equipment, and press brake machines to produce components according to specifications. Perform quality inspections using precision measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy and adherence to quality standards. Conduct troubleshooting on industrial equipment and robotic systems to resolve mechanical or operational issues promptly, minimizing downtime. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment while following strict safety protocols. Assemble components accurately using hand tools and fabrication techniques, ensuring proper fit and finish in accordance with engineering drawings. Maintain detailed documentation of production activities, measurements, and quality checks in compliance with lean manufacturing practices. Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machine performance and manufacturing efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC lathes, CNC machines, plastics extrusion or injection molding equipment, press brake machines, or robotic systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment effectively. Familiarity with plastics production processes including blow molding, injection molding, and extrusion. Skilled in using precision measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments for quality control purposes. Ability to read engineering drawings and perform basic math calculations related to measurements and tolerances. Experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is preferred; certification is a plus. Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment to ensure a safe workspace at all times. Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and warehouse operations is advantageous.
