Electrical Apprentice

Overview We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Electrician to join our dynamic team. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks on construction sites, ensuring safety and adherence to industry standards. Responsibilities Assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to test electrical systems for functionality. Support in the installation of high voltage systems under supervision. Help with the setup and operation of power tools and hand tools for various electrical tasks. Participate in frame carpentry as needed for electrical installations. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment on construction sites. Learn to read blueprints and technical diagrams to understand project requirements. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Skills Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Familiarity with voltmeters and ohmmeters is preferred. Experience or willingness to learn about high voltage systems. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Understanding of frame carpentry principles as they relate to electrical installations is a plus. Ability to work well on a construction site, adhering to safety regulations and protocols. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn from experienced electricians. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork.
