Software Platform Support Engineer - GPU Cloud

For our client, we are seeking a Software Platform Support Engineer - GPU Cloud to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.This role will support complex cloud software platforms and help ensure reliable day-to-day operation across internal teams and customer-facing workflows. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical troubleshooting skills, a strong understanding of distributed systems, and the ability to translate user issues into actionable improvements. You will collaborate closely with Site Reliability, engineering, and support partners to improve processes, tools, and production readiness in a fast-moving cloud environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $108,000 – $172,500 annuallyResponsibilities Coordinate Tier 1 support for complex cloud platforms with multiple internal teams Define and improve operational workflows, including runbooks and support processes Triage and investigate customer issues, escalating as necessary File bugs and closely collaborate with the Site Reliability team Develop tooling to enhance customer support processes Gain deep understanding of user workloads and use cases Provide feedback to engineering teams to develop solutions and assist internal teams Participate in an on-call rotation for production systemsQualifications BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years supporting distributed software systems and end-user platforms, with Linux expertise Experience with cloud platforms including Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP Knowledge of infrastructure, networking, storage, and DevOps scripting/tooling Understanding of data storage technologies, including databases, file, block, and blob storage Customer service/support experience Strong troubleshooting and communication skillsBenefits Eligibility for equity Participation in an on-call rotation for additional operational support Opportunities to work with cutting-edge cloud technologyOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
