Senior Project Manager – Restaurant & Retail DevelopmentRemote - Southern California We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee restaurant and retail development projects from due diligence through construction closeout across multiple client portfolios nationwide.This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial construction and restaurant development experience who enjoys managing high-volume project pipelines, building long-term client relationships, and operating in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.ResponsibilitiesManage the full lifecycle of restaurant and retail development projects from site investigation through construction closeoutOversee multiple projects simultaneously across various phases including due diligence, permitting, construction, and turnoverServe as the primary client contact for active project portfolios and maintain strong ongoing relationshipsCoordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal construction teams to ensure project successManage project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and reportingUtilize Procore, Smartsheet, and scheduling tools to maintain project visibility and organizationCollaborate closely with field Construction Managers to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budgetAssist with process improvements and operational visibility as project management systems continue to evolveReview estimates, understand cost codes, and assist with change order generation and budget trackingSupport multi-location restaurant and retail rollouts while maintaining consistency across client programsQualifications5+ years of commercial construction or development project management experienceStrong restaurant, retail, or hospitality development experience requiredExperience managing projects from due diligence through construction closeoutBackground working for a General Contractor, Owner’s Representative, Construction Management, or Development Consulting firmProficiency with Procore and project scheduling toolsExperience managing multiple projects and clients simultaneouslyStrong communication and client-facing relationship management skillsFast casual restaurant or multi-unit rollout experience highly preferredBachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience consideredPMP certification is a plusEstimating or change order experience is a plus
