Location: Chicago, IllinoisHospital: Rush University Medical CenterDepartment: IM Hosp Med - OfficeWork Type: Full Time (0.9–1.0 FTE)Long-Term Acute Care Advanced Practice ProviderPosition: Long-Term Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine.Duties & Responsibilities10-hour or 12-hour shifts, weekdays only including weekends.100% inpatient care.Report directly to the Hospital Medicine Lead Advanced Practice Provider.Collaborate with three fellow LTACH APPs, Rush University Hospitalists and Select Medical.Preferred QualificationsPrevious Advanced Practice Provider experience in Hospital Medicine, Critical Care or related specialty (preferred, not required).Relevant RN experience may be considered.APRN candidates must hold an Acute Care Certification.Position RequirementsNurse PractitionerCurrent licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse, or eligibility to obtain licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice with clinical specialty appropriate to the position.Current certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP).CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.Physician AssistantCurrent licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate, or eligibility to obtain licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program.Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.Compensation and BenefitsPay Range: $124,610 – $175,000. Includes base pay, benefits, and potential incentive payments. Additional compensation may include premium pay rates, sign-on bonuses, and relocation allowances.
