Physician (Psychiatrist) – Support the Veteran community in the Loma Linda, CA area. Position open to all candidates, including Locum or Traveling professionals.

Logistics:
Pay: $165.00+ per hour
Contract Type: 1 year
Schedule: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Location: Loma Linda, CA
Requirements:
Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. state, territory, or district.
Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree.
Completed residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to board certification eligibility.
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Previous experience with the VA is a plus.

Responsibilities
Support the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System within Behavioral Health Service.
Provide direct and indirect services to eligible Veterans, including clinical assessments, treatment, and determination of priorities.
Provide clinical assessments, diagnoses, medication management, crisis intervention, and manage psychiatric emergencies, including potential hospitalization.
Provide therapeutic treatments such as psychotherapy interventions in inpatient or outpatient settings, including the Emergency Department.
