We are a nationally recognized plaintiff-side employment law firm committed to excellence, innovation, and results.Summary of Role:The Lead Attorney manages cases from intake through resolution and is accountable for both case outcomes and the quality of work performed by the legal team.Lead Attorneys assign work to associate attorneys, supervise and review their work, and ensure that clients receive the highest level of representation. While associates learn by observing and participating in casework, the Lead Attorney's role is to lead by example, not formally train—demonstrating how to successfully manage and litigate cases.Lead Attorneys are also responsible for providing associates with opportunities to grow by delegating meaningful work and supporting their development within active cases.Key ResponsibilitiesMeet with clients and guide case strategyProvide information regarding initial client meetingsNegotiate cases toward resolutionInvestigate cases, including regularly interviewing witnessesLitigate cases to a positive resolution for the client, including:Drafting discovery requestsFinalizing and reviewing discovery responses prepared by paralegalsConducting good faith letters and conferencesHandling depositions and motions practiceDraft EEOC charges and correspond with the EEOCParticipate in focus groupsConduct legal researchSupervise associate attorneys and review work product to ensure quality and consistencyAssign case responsibilities and create opportunities for associate growthRecommend, develop, and implement improvements to systems, policies, and procedures within the role and reporting structureWhat We're Looking ForStrong litigation experience with the ability to manage cases independentlyExcellent judgment in case strategy and decision-makingAbility to lead, delegate, and supervise effectivelyStrong communication and client management skillsCommitment to delivering high-quality legal workGeorgia law license in good standing3-5 years of experience in Civil LitigationEmployment law experience is a plusPreferably living around Metro Atlanta
