Role: Senior Network Engineer (SD-WAN / Edge Technologies) – OnsiteLocation: Onsite – Greater Nashville, TN areaDuration: 6+ months (potential extension)Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hoursRole OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with strong experience in SD-WAN technologies to support a large-scale network rollout initiative. This role will provide hands-on technical leadership for deployment activities, including staging, configuration, and coordination of site implementations across a multi-location enterprise environment.The ideal candidate will work closely with internal engineering teams and field resources to ensure successful rollout execution and network stability.Key ResponsibilitiesLead staging, configuration, and deployment activities for SD-WAN solutionsCoordinate with implementation teams for site rollouts and cutover activitiesValidate configurations and ensure readiness of network equipment prior to deploymentSupport troubleshooting and resolution of issues during and after deploymentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including network engineering, security, and field operationsProvide technical guidance during rollout phases across multiple locationsAssist in documenting deployment processes and configurationsRequired Skills & Experience3+ years of hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies (Edge-based solutions such as Aruba, Silver Peak, or similar)Strong knowledge of routing, switching, WAN, and VPN technologiesExperience supporting enterprise network deployments and site rolloutsFamiliarity with network staging, provisioning, and cutover processesAbility to troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issuesPreferred QualificationsExperience in large-scale, multi-site deployment environmentsExposure to network security concepts and firewall configurations (e.g., Palo Alto or similar)Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experienceAdditional NotesOnsite role — candidates must be local or able to work onsite full-timeLooking for candidates available to start quicklyStrong communication and coordination skills are critical for success
