The ideal candidate is organized, professional, comfortable working independently, and capable of identifying site conditions that may impact installation quality, scheduling, or project completion.This is a field-based role requiring strong attention to detail, professional homeowner communication, and the ability to accurately document residential solar project conditions.What You’ll DoPerform residential solar site surveys according to SpartanX operational standardsCollect accurate roof, structural, electrical, attic, and property dataDocument main service panels, subpanels, meters, and existing electrical equipmentCapture complete site photos, measurements, and detailed notes for engineering and operations teamsIdentify potential installation concerns, access limitations, shading issues, or code-related deficienciesUtilize company software and mobile applications to submit survey information accurately and on timeCommunicate professionally with homeowners during scheduled appointmentsCoordinate with operations, permitting, engineering, and installation teams as neededMaintain organized documentation and ensure survey completeness before submissionFollow all company safety standards and field proceduresWhat We’re Looking ForPrevious solar site survey, construction, roofing, electrical, or field operations experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage daily schedules efficientlyProfessional communication and customer interaction skillsComfortable working on rooftops, ladders, attics, and outdoor environmentsBasic understanding of residential construction and electrical systems preferredComfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and operational software systemsValid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordAbility to lift, carry, and move equipment safely throughout the workdayPreferred QualificationsPrevious residential solar experienceExperience with Aurora, Solo, or similar solar survey platformsOSHA 10 certificationBasic electrical knowledge or field troubleshooting experiencePay, Incentives & Growth$13.75/hr + $55 per completed site surveyVehicle Compensation (Choose One):$400 monthly car stipend + $0.22 per mile, orUse your own vehicle + $0.72 per mileProductivity dashboards tracking same-day surveysBonus and incentive opportunities for top performersPerformance-driven culture that rewards consistency and efficiencyWhy SpartanX?At SpartanX, accurate site data drives operational success.
