Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)Location: Sacramento, CAPay Range: $70,000 - $111,000 per yearBenefits: Full benefits package includedAbout the Opportunity:We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our charter school client in Sacramento, CA. In this role, you will support students with disabilities by identifying, evaluating, and addressing communication disorders to help them thrive academically and socially. This is a full-time, school-based position that offers a competitive salary, benefits, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative educational setting.Key Responsibilities:Assess students' speech, language, and communication skills to determine program eligibility and develop individualized treatment recommendations.Provide direct speech and language therapy services tailored to IEP goals using evidence-based practices and appropriate tools.Develop and implement treatment plans and interventions in compliance with regulatory standards.Participate in multidisciplinary teams to create, review, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).Collaborate with parents, teachers, school staff, and outside professionals to support student development and performance.Train and oversee support staff, as needed, to deliver effective treatment interventions.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, services, progress reports, and IEP compliance.Evaluate student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.Participate in team meetings such as IEPs, SSTs, and 504 planning, and provide consultative support to general education staff.Use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and assistive technologies when appropriate.Maintain compliance with ethical standards, legal requirements, and confidentiality guidelines.Qualifications:Required:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityValid California credential in Speech-Language PathologyKnowledge of federal and state special education laws and proceduresPreferred:Master's degree in Speech-Language PathologyCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHAMinimum of 3 years of relevant experienceFamiliarity with SEIS and IEP platformsBilingual skills are a plusOther Requirements:DOJ and FBI background clearanceNegative TB test result (within 60 days of hire)Ability to occasionally travel to other school sites or meetings as neededStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a teamWorking Conditions:School and office environmentAbility to sit, stand, bend, lift, and perform light physical dutiesRequires visual and auditory acuity for monitoring students and conducting evaluationsMust be able to travel between school sites if neededVeterans and candidates with diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.Join our team and help empower students through effective communication strategies and support!Apply Today!
