Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Wound CareJob Location: Great Neck, New YorkJob Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9a-5p and Wednesdays 6am-2pmRegistered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Wound Care team at Highfield Gardens Care Center of Great Neck, a sub-acute and long-term care facility dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our patients. As an RN on our Wound Care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with complex wound conditions, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to promote healing, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our patients.Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Responsibilities:Assess, develop, and implement individualized wound care plans for patients with complex wound conditionsProvide direct patient care, including wound cleaning, dressing changes, and treatmentsCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive careEducate patients and families on wound care techniques, self-care strategies, and prevention methodsDocument patient progress, outcomes, and wound care activities in accordance with facility policies and regulationsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care and outcomesRegistered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Requirements:Current RN license in the state of New YorkPrior experience in wound care or related fieldStrong knowledge of wound care principles, practices, and standardsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilitiesStrong attention to detail, with accuracy and precision in documentation and record-keepingHow to Apply:If you are a dedicated and passionate nurse seeking a rewarding career in wound care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
