This leadership role involves the direct management of Territory Sales Managers and/or Sales Representatives, with core accountability for achieving and surpassing regional sales targets and market share goals, and cultivating strategic relationships with key distributors and contractor partners. Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesExecute a comprehensive regional sales strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals, including market penetration, customer acquisition and revenue growth plans.Identify, qualify, and pursue new prospective accounts in the Contractor and Distribution channels while maintaining existing customers.Conduct regular market analysis, competitive intelligence, and territory reviews to adjust sales tactics and resource allocation.Entrepreneurial and results focused to meet sales and profit goals.Proactively engaging with prospects and effectively articulating our value proposition to meet or exceed the customer requirements and performance standards.Directly manage, mentor and develop a team of sales professionals.Recruit, onboard and retain high-performing sales talent.Participate in the annual planning and sales forecasting process.Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions, performance reviews, and development planning. Establishes objectives and priorities, ensuring they support the organization’s business plans.Service existing and prospective customers through regular visits and correspondence.Provide ongoing training on product knowledge, sales techniques, negotiation skills, and best practices.Assist in the preparation and manning of trade show exhibits at agreed upon national and regional shows.Participate in agreed upon professional organizations/societies.QualificationsSkills & Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Education & Experience:Experience selling reactive, silicone, or water based adhesives through Commercial Distribution and Contractor channels.Experience within the industrial, residential and commercial building construction markets is a plus.Travel by air and automobile up to 75% during the course of business.Experience with Microsoft Office software programs. Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Additional InformationAdditional Information The salary range for this position is $124,000 - $180,000/ year.The hiring base salary range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and in some circumstances may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education and training, and location, as well as the job scope and complexity, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel required for the position, which may change depending on the candidate pool.
