Immediate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) contract opportunities with our skilled nursing facility in Highland, NY. LPNs with experience administering medications preferred. Pay Rate: $40.00/hr Available Work Schedules: Day Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) Evening Shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm) Night Shift (11:00pm - 7:30am) Job Details Provides nursing care to the residents on the nursing unit within the framework of the medical and nursing care plan, the policies of the Department and, under the supervision of a professional nurse. Monitors the residents closely to identify response to treatments, medication and/or changes in health status. Provides treatments to the residents according to the medical and nursing care plan and consistent with the policies of the Department. Prepares and dispenses medication to the residents according to the medical plan of care and consistent with the policies of the Department. Directly assists with the resident's activities of daily living, including direct care, observation of status and changes and supervision of non-professional staff. Qualifications Valid LPN License 2+ years of LPN experience working in a LTC/SNF required (must have 2 year experience worked in last 5 years) One year of long term care experience preferred
