Position SummaryThe Continuous Improvement Analyst is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements across manufacturing operations within a metal production environment. This role focuses on increasing efficiency, reducing waste, improving product quality, and supporting a culture of operational excellence through data-driven decision-making and lean manufacturing principles.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvementLead and support continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and KaizenCollect, interpret, and present production data to drive informed decision-makingCollaborate with production, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to implement process enhancementsDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructionsFacilitate root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective and preventive actionsTrack and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, safety, and costSupport value stream mapping and workflow optimization effortsAssist in training employees on continuous improvement tools and best practicesParticipate in audits and ensure compliance with safety and quality standardsQualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related fieldExperience:2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal fabrication, machining, or heavy industryHands-on experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, or similar)Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as welding, stamping, machining, or casting is preferredExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesCertifications (Preferred):Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higherEqual Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected VeteransThe Know Your Rights poster is available here:https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdfThe pay transparency policy is available here:https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdfFor temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.We are committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
