Social Worker - OWC

RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university, Master's degree preferred. Alaska Licensed (or provisionally licensed) Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW), Master of Social Work (LMSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), plus at least one year of experience in substance treatment. Knowledge of federal confidentiality regulations and requirements. Willingness and means to travel. Good working knowledge of basic English grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation. No outstanding history of substance abuse related problems. Interest, knowledge and sensitivity to the Native lifestyle and culture. Willing to take training and attend workshops and meetings periodically to enhance job performance and knowledge.
