Interim Manager, Operating Room

HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Nurse Manager of the Operating Room at a facility in upstate NY.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Needs to lead daily clinical and operational functions within a busy surgical services department containing 15+ operating rooms.Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services, this leader will oversee approximately 60 FTEs.Provide hands-on leadership in daily OR operations, fostering strong staff engagement, supporting a collaborative team environment, and ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality surgical care delivery.Requirements:Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree preferredExperience: Strong operating room experience; Previous operating room leadership experience in an acute care setting required; experience in a Magnet-designated facility preferred.License: Active NY RN License requiredCertifications: BLS through the American Heart AssociationComputer Skills: Information systems experience (EPIC) and Microsoft Officer suitExpenses covered while on assignment including housing, airfare, and rental car.Earn $2,000 for every candidate or position placement from your referral that HCT successfully places!
