Middle School: Aide EL Compliance 2026-2027
Job OverviewThe Aide EL Compliance, will work with various stakeholders, both on and off campus, to ensure that emergent bilingual (EB) students are provided with the appropriate language support and/or services. The incumbent will assist the campus LPAC administrator, campus ESL teacher, and teachers of EB students by maintaining order and organization of written and electronic records of EB students, assisting with the language assessment of EB students, preparing documents and reports needed for LPAC meetings, and monitoring the accuracy of written and electronic EB student records.Position DescriptionEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDirect ServiceAdminister language assessments for the identification and/or reclassification of EB studentsCollaborate with campus staff and other school district personnel to ensure the accuracy of written and electronic EB student recordsCommunicate with relevant stakeholders, including parents and other school district personnel, to obtain needed EB student documentationConduct periodic internal audits of written and electronic EB student data, making/documenting correctionsMay, as itinerant, serve at two or more schools on a regular basisIndirect Service Maintain student confidentiality at all timesAdvocate for EB studentsAttend meetings and trainings for professional developmentReportsComplete periodic reports, prepare forms, and other clerical duties to assist with LPAC meetings, department documentation, and campus documentationMaintain accurate EB student records within the student EB student/LPAC foldersMaintain accurate EB student records in electronic databases such as Skyward, EDIT PLUS, district EL platform, etc.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneQualification RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the above essential duties satisfactorily.
