Program Administrator
The Program Administrator (PA) is responsible for program execution using best planning practices and exceptional communication to translate deadlines and customer/internal needs to the internal team. The PA is also responsible for program planning, schedule/budget development and sustainment, issues escalation, etc. The PA must have an aptitude and eagerness to learn, speak up when problems arise, and follow the process. The PA must be a self-starter with great time management skills and very strong attention to detail.ResponsibilitiesDevelop plans, including budgets and schedules, to meet contractual/internal requirementsMonitor and report performance against plans to ensure that contractual/internal, cost, and schedule objectives are metInterface between Operations, Engineering, and Purchasing to identify constraints, and develop plans that meet customer and internal needsEngage in process improvement projects with interconnecting departments to ensure positive, clear communication of prioritiesPlan, prioritize, execute, follow up, and anticipate changesParticipate in reviews (e.g. design, manufacturing, etc.) and proposal effortsMitigate risks and anticipate potential complications 2+ years of experienceQualificationsBachelors Degree in Business or Engineering is preferredExperience with ERP, especially SAP or SAP B1, preferred Basic knowledge of the AS9100 Quality Management System is preferredHighly self-motivated and proactiveStrong attention to detailExcellent MS Office skillsExcellent communication skills with all levels of the organizationExcellent expository writing and oral presentation skills.Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills, including confidential informationMust be able to meet strict deadlines and manage competing prioritiesMust be a US Person (This position has export control and security-related requirements that mandate attention to the citizenship status of any potential candidate and necessitates that the individual either be a United States Citizen, Permanent Resident of the United States, or lawfully admitted into the United States as a refugee or granted asylum by the United States Government.)About Blue Marble CommunicationsBlue Marble Communications designs and manufactures high-performance RF, free-space optical, and network communications modules and systems for deployment onboard satellites and other space vehicles.
