Project Manager Packaging Technology Background

Job Description:We are looking for a Project Manager with a strong understanding or prior experience in Packaging Technology to lead projects focused on cost savings, sustenance, and Value Engineering / Value Analysis (VE/VA). This role combines technical packaging knowledge with exceptional project management skills to deliver impactful results across multiple product lines.Responsibilities:Project Leadership:Manage end-to-end packaging projects aimed at cost optimization and sustainability.Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, procurement, operations, and suppliers.Packaging Expertise:Apply knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and technologies to drive innovative solutions.Support packaging sustenance initiatives and compliance with quality and regulatory standards.Cost Savings & Value Engineering:Identify and implement packaging cost reduction opportunities.Lead VE/VA workshops and ensure actionable outcomes.Track and report savings achieved through packaging initiatives.Stakeholder Engagement:Communicate project status, risks, and results to leadership and stakeholders.Build strong relationships with global teams and suppliers to align packaging strategies.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.8 10 years of experience in packaging technology and project management.Proven track record in cost savings projects and VE/VA implementation.PMP or equivalent certification preferred.Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
