It hosts a thriving graduate program with concentrations in History and Public History and an accelerated Bachelor's to Master's track (ABM) with a concentration in Public History. Department members are active in campus programming and community outreach in Statesboro, Savannah, and the surrounding region.Job SummaryReporting to the Chair of the Department of History, the Lecturer in US History requires teaching a 4/5 load (90% of effort), with 10% devoted to service. The position is a 10-month renewable Lecturer appointment, non-tenure track, with opportunities for promotion. Required QualificationsMasters degree in History, or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in History, by August 1, 2026.
