This position involves preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation. Whether you are working in a fine dining setting, catering events, or contributing to the dietary department, your culinary expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Pay is based on experience Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared safely and meets health regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service. Assist in menu planning and development, considering dietary restrictions and preferences. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Participate in catering events as needed, providing excellent service to clients. Utilize proper knife skills for meal preparation while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or fine dining environment, is preferred. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and catering services is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing time efficiently under pressure. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight guests is highly valued.
